Snooker has been a tradition of South West for many years and the honours board in the games room shows that the first recorded competition took place in 1968. Since then there have been changes to the position of our two tables mainly as a result of renovation work to the club building.

Our two tables are situated in the games room adjacent to the Members Lounge. They are well maintained and recently benefitted from new modern lighting which has been installed overhead. The tables are available for Members and their Guests on a “first come, first served” basis.

In recent years members have represented the club initially in the Urmston and District League then later in the Levenshulme and District League.
