The McCoy Lounge (upstairs) can be hired by members at a special rate and is ideal for adult parties, anniversaries and celebrations of all types.
The room can be booked at the main bar.
Club subscriptions are due yearly in January. A late payment levy will be applied after 31st January.
Members may join as a Social, Bowling or Cricket Member. Members may only represent the Club in any team, including darts & snooker, if they are fully paid up.
In the first year after their 65th. Birthday, a member who has paid the full subscription for 10 or more years, may become a Senior Member at a reduced subscription.
If you decide to leave the Club, you must resign or you will be a ‘lapsed member’ and you will only be allowed back as a guest or a member if the back subscriptions are paid.
Bringing Guests into the Club
Members may bring two visitors to the Club premises at any one time. The member shall be responsible for the conduct of the visitor(s) while on the Club premises and shall not leave the Club before their visitor(s). There is a Visitors Book which the Member and any visitor must sign. No person shall be admitted as a visitor on more than four occasions in any one year.
Children accompanied by an adult. Members will be admitted to the main lounge of the Club but may not remain after 9.00 pm. The Member will be responsible for the behaviour of children at all times.
Any member involved in violent conduct on the Club’s premises will be expelled.
Any disorderly conduct, whether within or outside of the Club premises, renders the Member liable to be disciplined in accordance with Rule 74. It is the duty of all Members of the Club to report such conduct in writing to the Executive Committee through the Hon. Secretary.
The Club will take action against users of bad language.
Dress in the Club
The Club is a club and not a public house, so members are asked to take off outside coats and hats on entering the Lounge and not to wear dirty clothing.
Smoking and drugs
Smoking is only permitted in the smoking shelter or outside of the buildings. This includes e-cigarettes. Illegal drug use will be reported to the Police.
